Dog & Cat Licenses

The owner of each dog and cat 5 months of age or older as of January 1 of any year, or 5 months of age within the license year shall annually, on or before the date the dog and cat becomes 5 months of age, obtain a license.

DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED:

  • Proof of Current RABIES VACCINATION from your vet.
  • Certification of spay or neutering from your vet.

FEES:

  • $8.00 Neutered males and spayed females
  • $20.00 Male and Female

DUE DATE:

  • March 31st
  • There will be a $10.00 late fee applied to any license not obtained by March 31st.

Per City Ordinance #511 No person may keep or harbor at any one household, nor any place of business, more then three dogs over 6 months old, or three cats over 6 months old, or any combination of dogs and cats numbering more then four which are over 6 months old. This provision does not apply to any persons licensed under state law to operate an animal hospital, pet shop, or kennel provided such operations conforms to the city zoning code and other applicable city operations.
