Will you help with this effort?
After 100 years of community use and the strong desire to maintain the Memorial Park Bandshell, the City Council has agreed that efforts should be made to renovate this amazing structure, which will ensure the Bandshell stands for generations.
Current needs include the following:
- Refurbish the existing masonry surfaces.
- Build a storage addition on the back, and include ADA-compliant improvements.
- Renovate and upgrade the public bathrooms to achieve ADA compliance.

Estimated cost: $250,000
Funds committed to date: $150,000
Project start/completion: The work will start mid-August, 2026 and will be completed no later than June, 2027.
FUNDING NEEDS: $100,000
The City is now accepting donations to offset the cost of renovations. All donations will be accepted. Donations of $10,000 or more will provide the opportunity for the donor's name to be on a plaque at the Bandshell when renovations are completed.
