Spring Clean-Up Days
When:Durand Public Works Department will be conducting the annual spring brush/yard clean-up starting SATURDAY, APRIL 18, 2026 and ending at sunset on SUNDAY, MAY 3, 2026.
Follow these regulations for pick-up:
- Branches must be stacked parallel to the curb
- Piles cannot exceed 10 feet in length
- Piles cannot exceed 5 feet in depth from roadway
- Leaves must be piled separately and cannot be in boxes or in bags
- Branches cannot be stacked around fixed objects
- Branches cannot exceed 2” in diameter
Anything that is piled within the right of way that does not meet the above specifications on or after MAY 6, 2026 will be considered littering of the right of way and shall be promptly removed by the homeowner.
